For the record, I added “(Big Dance)” to the thread title because a highly esteemed member of this board taught me that thread titles matter. I don’t learn much, but I learned that.
UConn has a dominant 7'2" center. Edey is 7'4".

I’m old, I’ve seen better. UConn will win their next three games by 20 each. But this is better than okay.
I only have Uconn & Tennessee left in my brackets. I do have UONN repeating as champion.

They’re not easy to come. UK had three 7 footers this year and they all sucked.

I can't remember a shellacking anything like the Illini experienced in today's UConn - Illinois East Regional Final (77-52, UConn) since Penn's 1971 loss to Villanova, 90-47, also in a Regional Final. The only differences between the games: 1) Illini played OK in the 1st half, while Penn stunk from the start, 2) Penn was the higher seed, while the Illini were the lower seed.

It is truly amazing that Illinois got this far without a good point guard. They have good forwards, centers, and shooting guards, but the kid who played PG wasn't very good all year. The strength of the rest of the team masked the deficiencies at PG all year.
