What's our lineup without Carr if he can't go? Almonor gets significant minutes? Go 4 out, 1 in? Gonna be interesting.....

My assumption is depends on MS ST lineup. If they stay big and try to dominate the paint, Almonor almost certainly has to play more.

On the other hand, if Pope elects to stay with a guard/wing lineup even if MS ST goes big, the offense could open up if the MS ST bigs have to chase more.

So, in my infinite wisdom, I would say I have no idea 😂

Big difference so far than when Cal was here. Butler had a pretty bad sprained ankle…..and only missed 2 games….not 6 weeks….
Brea was listed as questionable Tuesday…..but played.
With these guys and Pope…..if they CAN play they WILL play……wasn’t that way with Cal’s spoiled draft picks

Care was wearing a warming apparatus on his back during timeouts at the GA game.

It’s already starting to get old seeing players questionable and not having a reason listed when the last time we saw them they were fine and really didn’t even do much practice in that amount of time either.

Are u calling his 1 rebound he grabbed a great stretch?
Not everything has to show up on a stat sheet. You know, the OTHER end of the floor. He defended really well. Pope (who is a hell of a lot more qualified than you), singled him out for his play, and said "it wouldn't go unnoticed." Not every player has to score X number of points, or X number of rebounds, to be effective. Good solid, up in your grill defense is very much needed with this team.

Almonor has shown nothing against better opponents. If uk is depending on him for a major contribution, gonna be a long game
Don’t really know if that is true, last game he was wide open for shots and Garrison never passed it to him. He is a streaky shooter who can put up double digits if needed. He has to get his points when we are passing the ball at a high level.

disagree. I thought he had a great stretch against Florida…

He won the Florida game. He blocked out letting us string together some defensive boards that led to transition baskets and let us break it open a bit.

Well…as someone getting over this stomach flu thing if that’s what Carr had he would likely not be a go.

A 6 foot 5 pf? This isn't high school it's the SEC. I REALLY hope Carr is ready to play tonight....
He’s the next thickest player we have behind and Garrison. Any foul trouble at all from our foul trouble prone bigs and you’re going to need small ball minutes

Same here let's Noah take 10 shots and see how it falls out. Noah is fearless and his strength is shooting. Put him in and let him shot it.
The strength of this team is its offense. Maybe Mark will get them back to running it this game. When they're doing what they're supposed to be doing, there will be a lot of open looks.
