I said this last night to my gal while we were watching. Andrew runs the play, calls for the ball, and when he doesnt' get it, he moves to the next part of offense, screen or whatever. He's very efficient and smooth that way. I'm not a basketball expert, but even I noticed that a lot.
He does not go out of his way to ' get his ' points. Very unselfish. Just goes with the flow of the offence. Seems to be ok if he gets 8 or 18 points
That seems to be the personality of this whole team. Make plays for each other and root for each other.

I’ve noticed it too. It makes a big difference.
Blue as Ive said Ad nauseam; these 9 Upperclassman, who were cherry picked to fit like jigsaw puzzle pieces into Pope’s system are 9 Paid Mercenaries that have come to UK to do one thing and we all know what that one thing is.

UK has won in all the other types of CB eras; we will win one in the immediate transfer-pay for play era too!

Yeah, I agree, it seems to be the personality of the whole team. And that is very rare, and it's even more amazing that Pope was able to find all these guys in such a short amount of time, and get them to all mesh and develop so much chemistry so quickly. I'm loving it!

This team in general does a good job of moving the ball and I love the team assist average per game. Plus it is a breath of fresh air to see a team play as an actual team and not one guy dribbling the seams off the ball while the other 4 just stand and watch.

With now a sober and alert intelligent mind at the helm, we totally will.

This team is a reflection of the HC, as most teams are.

Most unselfish, humble, positive, upbeat, teammate on a team full of good teammates.

Hard to be selfish when the HC exudes positivity and team play.

The unselfish play of the whole team is pretty impressive. I really hope pope can continue to get these type of guys because they are very fun to watch

It’s true about Pope’s personality, but the fact that he can reference his own team that won a championship by playing so unselfishly must certainly help him convince the team it isn’t just his personality

They're all pretty much...

LEADERS

it's a "team of leadership"
We have it in so many ways, not just on court, but off court.

And I think that's the best thing about what Coach Pope has instilled this year, in our players, with the fans.

Investing in himself THROUGH the selflessness of this team. Leadership. We are truly blessed.

How many teams in all of college hoops can you say that about right now?

What's happening here, in the now, is SPECIAL.

Most of them are unselfish. Robinson and Krissa are not. I've seen both of them take lots of shots, that weren't earned, if they can do it then there's no limit, to what this team is capable of.

How can you say the guy who had 12 assists recently is selfish? Or 8 assists in 12 minutes? Kerr definitely not selfish. Robinson irks me sometimes because he takes contested shots while teammates are wide open but he frankly may not have the vision

Edit: Also note that Kriisa is willing to come off the bench for us and still play with a constant motor. I’ll defend that kid’s character because he is special for that reason. Pope gushes over him for that very reason
