Some form of “hazing” occurs in EVERY locker room, fraternity and sorority in America. It’s one definition of hazing and where the line is that can/cannot be crossed.

My daughter's sorority was put on probation because they required (or at least pressured) the new inductees to wear a silly outfit to class to celebrate becoming members of the sorority. The inductees did this willingly.

Thats how ridiculous things are with the clowns running the university.

And yet a campus-wide game of Assassin (where students are chasing other students through the halls of the academic buildings and everywhere else) was allowed to go on for a month.

Don’t get me started.

When I was 21 I joined a fraternity.

I was allowed to drink legally in the dorms and offcampus - BUT NOT IN MY OWN FRATERNITY HOUSE WITH OTHER 21 YEAR OLDS.

Northwestern has been a joke for years. @IGNORE2 and @CoralSpringsCat know: it is a mess.

This Evanston Fish stinks from the head down ⬇️

Honestly I am glad my daughter graduated this past June - and it isn't only because I don't have to pay those tuition and housing bills anymore.

The administration's policy toward student life has devolved into one big "cover your ***." No this, no that. We can't risk looking bad..

At least now I can go back to viewing things from a distance, where it is much easier to focus on the positives and ignore the negatives.
