#1 ranked wrestling team wins the BIG Tourney by a wide margin with 5 individual champs and all 10 wrestlers qualifying for the NCAA Tournament in Philly in two weeks. They’ll be trying to win their 12th of the last 14 National Championships.

#9 ranked lacrosse beats #3 ranked Cornell in OT at Cornell

#15 ranked hockey team sweeps #11 ranked Michigan @Michigan to advance in the B1G Tourney and knock Michigan out.

PSU baseball takes the series from Indiana to open B1G play. It’s the first time PSU has won a series against Indiana since 2008.

PSU basketball knocks off Wisconsin, but unfortunately, doesn’t make the B1G Tourney.

#8 ranked PSU Women’s Hockey makes the NCAA tourney field for the third consecutive year.

I apologize if I missed any accomplishments from any men’s or women’s teams not mentioned. It’s tough to keep up with all the schedules.

The first game winner against Michigan was ridiculous….

It was an excellent weekend for PSU athletics.

Others you didn't mention:

- PSU softball had their home opener, and played 4 games (2 Fri, and 2 Sun), and swept all 4 games
- #6 PSU Men's gymnastics defeated #5 Illinois on the road
- Penn State Women's gymnastics won a tri-meet on the road against George Washington and Clemson, and posted their highest score of the season while doing so
- Penn State men's & women's fencing competed in the Regionals. 11 of them placed in the top 10 of their respective weapons. They await an announcement by the NCAA on Tuesday (3/11) as to how many qualified for Nationals (which will be held at PSU this year)

Alas, #19 PSU Men's VB was an exception. They traveled to Arizona to take on #16 Grand Canyon University. Unfortunately, they got swept on both Saturday and Sunday.
