Uggh... that sucks. Walker was making a name for himself in Cleveland. Hope he can bounce back next year.

This sucks: The injury, which was confirmed by an MRI on Friday, is considered to require a five- to seven-month recovery, the source said.

At least he’s already made millions, but I think he only had a one year contract with the Browns. So I wonder how his next deal will work out.

Did the injury report specify whether it was a torn quadriceps muscle or quadriceps tendon? A torn quad tendon is a very difficult recovery. The forces generated in this area are enormous and a tendon repair often necessitates "shortening" the tendon, further increasing the stress on the extensor mechanism. Recovery for the non-athlete is usually quite good but for an elite athlete, it will be an arduous rehabilitation. If one of the quad muscles tore, then I would be more optimistic

Muscle. Although early reports were Tendon.
