Any cigar aficionado's here? Just curious to see if anyone else is a premium cigar smoker? If so, what are your favorite cigars?

I've been a cheap-o cigar smoker for years (typical gas station fare), but after receiving a 16-stick sampler from Thompson cigars as a birthday gift, I'm now sad that I waited so long to try a real premium cigar. I bought a 50 cigar humidor and now have a small collection growing.

For me it just depends on how much money I have to drop on some... For the money I really like Don Rafael, Romeo y Julieta and Olivia.... But my go to is Macanudo Crux Royale

Diamond Crown- Julius Ceasar
San Cristobal- they are all great
Padron 80th Ann., on special occasions since they are pricey
Alec Bradley- Prensado
Romeos
My Father- Flor-de-las-Antillas, highly recommend this, great cigar at a decent price.

Check out JR Cigars and look into some of their vintage sticks, I've found some amazing deals on their site.

Back in the 80's a guy I worked with would order cigars from Thompson. Not sure what they cost now but back then a box was 50.00. We would split a box of various kinds, one I remember was cheroot ( not sure if that is spelled correctly).. Our rule of thumb back then was, the longer the ash on the cigar the better quality it was. Those Thompson's would hold a good 2 inch or more ash...costly but good..

Nice! Now just pour a splash of a nice scotch, kick back and relax (I recommend Lagavulin 16 year)

JR's Cuban Alternative to Bolivar, Bellicoso, is a very good smoke for the money.

Tried some Zino's for first time, not impressed.
