Bow season started September 1
Gun season is in November
Muzzleloader season starts Saturday I think
Don't know about crossbow.
Heard is growing here in EKy not a big as WKy but growing. There's been a few large bucks spotted in the area near where I live.

I live in Lawrence County. I saw a ton of deer this year. Also saw a nice 150+ buck in early September. Eastern Ky will never be like West Ky but go to the taxidermist on opening weekend. You'll be surprised how many nice bucks you'll see. I got a 140 class deer a couple years ago and it was small compared to what was there.
I've hunted some in Lawrence Cty., there were plenty deer then and some really nice bucks. The blue tongue disease hurt nearby Elliot County so I assume it done some damage in Lawrence as well. Still has a lot of deer though.
