I hope Aaron is ok. If Davis has to go I am sure he will do fine.

Well, Davis burns his shirt the instant he goes. So if we see him at all the decision is made.

Assuming a broken wrist, short of surgery, they might wait until January to confirm the healing and recovery. I suspect we will see a healthy dose of Nasdeo regardless until we get to the Big10 schedule.

Davis shirting next year while Ono goes works for me.

Yeah, Davis isn’t going to go until/unless they know Nagao is out for the season. Until then, Nasdeo. It’s not like they need the points to win duals. LOL.

Has there been any indication that Nagao will be out for an indefinite period of time? If he wasn’t injured very seriously, it’s possible that the coaches just decided there wasn’t anything to gain by keeping him out there on the mat and they just pulled him out as a precaution. We’ll know pretty soon.

After watching the replay it didn't look serious but looks can be deceiving.

From what I heard it's a broken wrist from someone that would probably know.
Not sure if it's long term enough to pull a shirt intially.
Davis would be one option. I'm wondering if Davis not wrestling in tournaments is maybe a Cael decision (suspension)for his arrest this off season.
The other option would be to bump Desmond to 133 and Blaze to 141 if Blaze is having trouble making 133.
I think we will have better idea in January on the long term plan. Until then, I think we'll see Nasdeo.

I personally think Nagao was going to have trouble against a decent 141 pounder. He gives up his legs way too easy. When he was at lower weight, his strength allowed him to counter a leg attack . He doesn't have the same strength advantage at 141.
I agree. If he rolls around with the top guys like he did in some of his matches it's a recipe for disaster.

Don’t think Ono will be at 141 next year. Hevwas registered for a freestyle tournament in Japan at 125.7 next month. Think 133 is more realistic next season

They should probably send Davis to some Opens to get his match count up in case he has to go. That way he would be eligible for a wildcard for NCAAs if something bad happened at B1Gs.
He’d have to go unattached to preserve the shirt. Do unattached matches count for NCAAs like that?
