Hearing good news on A. Nagao Not a season ending injury. Should be back in a few weeks. Which means Davis will retain his red shirt for now. Expect another back up for the next few weeks at 141 while Nagao works his way back. Will see this evening. Having a brain lapse on the other 141 backup that starts with an N. I’m sure someone can remember here.
I was actually pretty excited to see Nasdeo get a chance at some point when he was a recruit (although thinking he would probably be a 125), but he hasn't really shown much in his limited opportunities (other than beating Fredo Ferrari at a tournament last year), so I'm not sure if 141 is maybe too big for him? He was terrific as a senior in HS. But whatever, winning 141 isn't a make-or-break spot for this team (nothing is, to be honest...), so it'll be fun to see if he can make something of a more extended run as a starter.
What time is the match against Drexel this evening ? I’m planning on attending the Lehigh match in Rec Hall on Sunday.

Two questions:
1). Why oh why are match notes yet again wrong. I don't get it. What's the point of listing him without even a backup while we do so at other weights? Someone explain the point of match notes, and listing a kid when virtually everyone (esp. the coaches) knows a kid isn't going. Don't they realize the duity they have to KYPSW?
2). I was on the AN bandwagon all pre season, cautioning against simply gifting the slot to Davis. I thought Aaron had a real shot (redshirt strategy aside) at winning via wrestleoff. I know he is and will continue to kick the rust off, a year plus is a long time. That said, his style remains a bit reckless. He let's guys get to his legs, potentially on purpose. He rides too high with the legs in and can get reversed. He pulls guys to his back in an attempt to get points only to lose control and nearly get caught there. He did all of these things multiple times against only so so competition. This is the kind of stuff that we thought that much time off in our training environment would rectify. He simply can't wrestle like that against top competition or he will get bit. I still have him as a solid AA, but those kind of flaws can lead to a blood round exit, and won't fly at all against someone like Mendez. I am sure the coaches are all over it, but he is one of those high risk entertaining to watch wrestlers, just take a double dose of your heart medication before his match. Give me a dozen Aaron Nagao's over 100 Jerod Verkleerens any day.
