Any Ky. Lake Fishermen around?

A buddy and I are heading to Ky. Lake on 4-11 thru 4-16. I have never been to Ky. Lake and looking for any info on conditions there. I am a Bass fisherman but we coming to try our luck with crappie so I know nothing about the ins and outs of crappie Fishing. We are staying at Moors Resort so we will mainly Fishing North end of Lake but may trailer boat 1 day to Paris Landing to try South end. Any tips and tricks be appreciated.

I'm taking my dad down there in early May. We caught some huge crappies last year.

We went out with a guide and were dragging crank baits over the staging areas. I had never fished for crappie that way before. Unbelievably effective and there are plenty of giant crappies in that lake.

Can't wait to get back down there.

Biggest crappie I ever caught was on a crank bait while bass fishing. Couldn't believe it when I saw what it was.
