Read last week that OU is interested.
I'm going to go out on a limb and predict he's a Sooner next year. If you look at his highlights the guy can play, looks a little bit like D.D., looks to have the speed to be a deep threat. How could he not want to catch passes from Baker his final year.

The last I read we were at 86 scholarship players. We can only have 85. This means we currently need to subtract one and if we get this guy, two. I wonder who gets cut or leaves on their own?

Unless he's a graduate transfer, he can't play next year... unless I missed a rule change.

I read he will have one year of eligibility immediately.
OU must find a way to put him on the roster.....I'm betting it will happen, if Badet decides to transfer to OU.

I can see another showdown with the ncaa if there is any way they can impose their will on this transfer

Recent history has had many personnel losses by OU......disciplinary, academic and players leaving on their own for whatever reasons. Somehow, someway a vacancy always seems to crop up during the winter, spring and summer.

I'd be very surprised if we don't lose a player or two this summer. With injuries, qualifying, grades, and just guys low on the depth chart wanting a chance to play, we'll lose at least a couple, likely more.

I kinda doubt a graduate transfer is going to pay out of state tuition somewhere, when so many good schools would pay his way. Even a receiver to play with a Heisman stage quarterback.

I believe there would be a scholarship available, if he decided OU was where he wanted to go.
But still, if he is only looking to showcase his skills for one year and he felt OU (and Baker) was the best place to do that, minimum hours for one semester would be a small price to pay. A student load could easily be paid off next April (or earlier, with an agent).
