DA = PG1, JJ = PG2… There’s no other way around it! Jasper has ZERO chance being a 2G in the league, so he might as well use the next couple of years developing into a solid functioning PG.

Jasper can’t handle the ball well enough to play pg. I don’t agree he can’t be a 2 guard in the nba. JJ is not the answer. Chandler is the back up pg

Our PG spot moving forward, as of this moment, is this:

PG1: Aberdeen
PG2: JJ or CC
PG3: Oweh

Neither of our PG 2s are ready for PG duties, but between Lowe and Aberdeen (and Lewis before decommit), I think the staff had hoped there'd be time to get the others acclimated to play the position by committee.

Obviously, that's not the case, so we roll with it.

Maybe Kam has some untapped PG skills. At this point, Pope needs to plug probably Noah and Williams at the 1 in practice to see if they're even remotely capable of playing it. If not, the top four options of CC, JJ, Aberdeen, and Oweh are going to get real familiar with Hart's PG tutelage real quick.

Probably don't have any schollies available for anyone anyway.

Well, to me Pope proved last year that he could still have a good offensive team without a traditional point guard on the floor.

We do not have to have a traditional point to get the ball up the floor since MoD and Jelavic are more mobile and at least as good dribblers as Amari Williams was last year.
We also saw that we didn't have to have a traditional point to initiate the offense.
We DO need somebody that can guard the other team's point guard and we have more of that than last year after Butler was out.
They'll be fine.
