For several days, I can only enter a few characters before I freeze up. Have to wait to see where it froze- maybe a sentence back. Have to reenter and go one character at a time. Had nearly same trouble several months back. It is irritating as hell - to the point of not playing. Others may enjoy my absence, but not me.
Anybody else having trouble with data entry?

I've had this problem for months. The site is nearly unusable for posting responses for me at home using Edge so I use Mozilla for this site only. I don't have problems posting at work.
I occasionally have problem like mentioned in the OP, although not to that extent, but when it happens I don't think it's this site but rather my computer. I can't remember specifically right now but I think when I have those problems it happens for every site I'm on, not just this one.
I think the server has issues depending on what part of the country you are posting from. It occasionally slows down for me too, and it's only on this sight, during specific times of the day (usually when traffic is very heavy) I run three different browsers on my PC (Chrome, Firefox and Edge) usually if I switch from one to the other, it clears up. The problems mostly come with Chrome though, I think it has something to do with how Chrome blocks certain flash player codecs, or resolves some site certificate authorizations.
