Anybody else think that the 2015 class will be like the 2011 class?

I do not mean position by position. I mean that it is perhaps underrated and 4-5 years from now we will "re-rate" it as a top 5 class.

The schools that we beat out for some of these kids are top flight. The descriptions given by the coaches of each kid seem exceptional. I know the coaches are supposed to build them up but there is some real potential in these kids. I do not think every one of them is instant impact but most will be big contributors 2-3 years from now.

There will be a lot of contributors. The biggest difference between the two classes is that the 2011 class had 21 high schoolers (and transfer Gerald Christian), while this year's class has 7 JCs and 17 high schoolers.

So the 2015 freshman class will be less impactful just simply based on numbers, but the other 7 commits in this class should be contributors right away.

More importantly--and no disrespect to Strong and Watson--but I like the guys we have coaching them better...

I think you will see 6-9 Juco/transfers start this year. That's usually a bad sign but not this time. These guys are STUDS! JHC, Wiggins, and Fields all have a good shot at being 1st team all ACC. And a couple of the WR's could if they get some really good QB play. Don't really like the way the schedule sets up with Auburn the first game and Clemson the third. Would like to have two or three easier games to get the team some experience. But I really like this team and think they will surprise a lot of people this year. If they can pull out one of the games with Auburn or Clemson, it could turn out to be a special year.

I think Lamar Jackson might be your Teddy Bridgewater in the 2015 class. He was a big time get. Florida wanted to flip him and he stuck with Louisville.

I agree Nole, and think he may end up 2nd or 3rd on the depth chart this year. I think Furgeson starts with Bonnafon backing him up. If Reggie doesn't show a lot of improvement then I could definitely see Jackson sliding in there. He is that good that I don't see any other QB's on the roster that will beat him out. Maybe Gardner if he can get healthy but I believe he has had one too many knee injuries. And that would only be because of his experience. I would love to redshirt Jackson but I don't think our other QB's are good enough to do that. I think he will be an injury or two away from starting coming into the first game.

Especially on the OLine coaching. Was disappointed with OLine last year!
