I'm still pissed about the job that the three man officiating crew, two from the ACC, did to the best team in he country by far. The fourth foul on Drexler was criminal. The guy who tackled him on that play, ended up in broadcasting, and still ribs Clyde about it.
Houston played into Valvano’s style, from being Phi Slama-Jama to Phi-Slow It-Blow It.
Gannon was the broadcaster who admitted and reminded Clyde that it was a horrible call. It affected the game profoundly. No way that ACC officials should have been in the game.
