If you did it in Hawaii, New Mexico, West Virginia or Wyoming, you're in like Flynn. You'd have to check the statutes for the other 46 states where it's illegal. In PA it's a second degree misdemeanor punishable by a $5000 fine and up to two years in prison.

A few years ago I was dragging my 7 point out and 2 wall hanger 8 points ran right up to me and stood there. My uncle got one of them the next day. And yes, it's hanging on his wall.
