I have bought tons from Rosland Capital. I just assume when they start coming out with commercials, they are ahead of everyone else so I have a leg up on the market.

Plus, I was a big fan of 24.

IMO silver is a better buy at the current prices. I'm of the impression that silver is way undervalued. As long as silver is under 15.00/oz I'm hammering it.

The only gold I'm currently buying is scrap off the street at 60%spot so I have a nice cushion. I've been buying scrap gold/silver for about 14 years now and putting it back, only cashing it out as needed to buy a big lot and I did sell a chunk when it reached 2000.00 to hedge my bets against a big drop which did happen. I have no idea how much of each I have but it's a **** load.

Got about 20 lbs silver. Waiting for paper to devalue. Gonna become the new JP Moneypincher and loan it out at unaffordable interest rates and completely rape my fellow Americans.

I don't know about you guys but whenever I buy silver or gold the first thing I do is run to the internet so I can tell everybody.

I don't know if you've seen our store but it's the one right beside the liquor store and where you can get your checks cashed. There will be a fat Latino man spinning a sign in front. We may be interested in what you have.

Do you have a strategy (ratio) of coins:bullion? e.g. silver eagles to the common indian/buffalo bullion pieces?

Silver's chart keeps showing lower lows and lower highs....until that changes, stay away

Like I said earlier, silver under 15/oz and I'm hammering it. If, like you predict, it continues to go lower I hammer it like a cheap hooker. JMO though.

When it cost more to mine than what's it's worth, it should be looked at as an investment. Also, since No one knows the future of anything, I put as much faith in my Quija Board telling me to do something as some financial broker.

Sounds like I need your expertise. Just a lot of silver eagles. How would I make a more crippling effect onto the people that I could potentially rape? Maximizing profits is the key here.

first rule of buying gold and silver is you don't talk about buying gold and silver
Yeah, a guy I know brags about how much he buys. He told me I should be doing it too. I told him that I didn't need to because if I need it, I will just come and take his.

if the time comes when you truly "need" it, the govt will have already confiscated his

I have some money in a precious metals fund.

having paper metals pretty much contradicts the whole point of owning PM's to begin with

How do you know the karat content of the scrap gold?

FWIW, I look at Au as a currency, like dollars/pounds/yen/yuan/etc., not as a commodity since it doesn't much get consumed but stored in various forms from which the raw Au can be recovered with worthwhile effort. Also, unlike paper money, hard to add a whole lot relative to the amount already in existence. Net, can't inflate it. I've read cost to mine Au is around $800-1000/oz. If true, hard for it to drop much below that.

US$ rising, so Au price dropping.

lol - I have no expertise to offer. Nothing at all wrong going all-in on Eagles. Some folks try to balance between Eagles and bullion pieces. Just curious if you had a strategy. As for profiting greatly, I certainly hope for the many persons who invested heavily when silver dropped out of the forties and into the high twenties a major rebound. But if I had to guess, silver will very likely drop below 12 eventually, maybe below 10 even. I sometimes use Silvertown. Here's a link in case you're interested in comparing their bullion prices. Roughly, bullion will always be about 15% less than Eagles, but still perfect .999% silver just the same.

If you are just devoted to mint coins I would recommend you take a look a Canada Maple Leafs to make your 20 pound collection a bit more diverse. Very beautiful. Excellent investment.

silvertowne is typically over priced. also they sell your personal information to "marketing partners" (unless you opt out, it says so right on their website).

the best way to compare prices across various products and vendors is:

https://comparesilverprices.com/ and https://comparegoldprices.com/

however, you won't typically find the lowest premium listed there. the best way to find specials is to join a dedicated gold and silver forum such as goldismoney, kitco, bullionstacker, etc. there's usually a deals thread on each one and the lowest premium items will find their way on to any of those sites very quickly

typically the lowest every day premium will be found from jmbullion or provident for silver. for gold, ebay will always allow you to pay the lowest premium (stick with large dealers such as apmex)
