They play Notre Dame. Notre Dame must be punished for copping so many prized recruits we thought we had good shots at landing. Any Notre Dame loss is a good loss.

All we had to do was beat them last year. PSU would be the team getting those recruits. Had it right in front of us and crapped the bed.
You really believe that? I seriously doubt one game changes that many recruits’ minds.
I always say my favorite teams are PSU and whoever plays the suckeyes/notre lame/spitt. Let’s go Aggies!
I suppose I prefer to see Notre Dame lose, but this is not as clear cut as one would think. It’s also extremely satisfying when an SEC team loses.
I look at it as a can't lose type game. At least one team I absolutely hate will lose.
Notre Dame has a cupcake schedule the rest of the year--a loss today is needed to keep them out of the playoff

I think we spent NIL to keep the 2025 team together. I think there will be more $ in the future. Kraft is finding ways to make more money like the Adidas deal and the Amica deal. I think PSU will be very competitive. I don’t see gloom at all.
There are plenty of non-Catholic football players, or Catholics who aren’t drawn to a Catholic college.

That’s exactly right. PSU is going to have a boatload of NIL money to spend after this season after all of the vets on the current team depart, who by the way are receiving a boatload of NIL money this season.
It’s laughable when PSU fans think that PSU doesn’t have a lot of NIL money to spend; it does and it’s only going to become larger.
And they are gloating over the Pa. recruits, taunting Franklin & Co.
I don't like ND, their coach, and their fan base is like talking to screaming zoo animals.
Texas A&M just doesn’t win these types of games anymore., even when they may be the more talented team.
I sure hope PSU routes Villanova and lots if backups get to play the 2nd half.
After last week’s lethargic and lackadaisical performance on offense, the starting offense needs to put this game away early. If it doesn’t, then red flags will go up about the attitude of the veterans on that unit. Sometimes, having a lot of players who have one foot out of the door isn’t the best thing.
It’s the third game of the season, I don’t think anyone has one foot out the door at this point. They all came back for a reason and it wasn’t to check out after the first game.
Definitely need to make a statement about dominance especially the offense. Lethargy is unacceptable at this point.

Normally I always root against Notre Dame, but over the past several years I've developed a considerable amount of distain (for many reasons) for the entire state of Texas. That said, since they both can't lose, a reluctant - go Aggies.

The Catholics are not happy with CJF after his treatment of Villanova today. ND is not interested now.
Right here with you - and I live in Texas. If I could move my kids easier (both have special needs), I’d be out of here. Have to wait until retirement when I’ll have more flexibility to get the eff back home
Btw, re last nights nd game, can I just say that whoever was prodcing the game for nbc was a total dick?
Nd td with a little under 2 minutes. But the holder flubs the snap, no no pat and a 6 point lead!!
But tamu returns the kickoff for a td!!!! But wait - a holding penalty calls it back!!! Cue the dick.
For the next 15 minutes between plays they had a camera fixed on the poor schmuck who committed the holding penalty
But wait!!! Tamu drives down the field to about the nd 30. Cue the dick again. Now, nbc has a camera trained on the poor schmuck who dropped the pat snap!!
Tamu scores, kicks the point to go up by 1. Rest of the briadcast was a shot of the nd schmuck.
