I checked out after last game. It was deteriorating for awhile but for the first time in all my years I have little to
No excitement. Pope generates no passion, players have all but turned on each other and Pope. He has no clue with this team.
Going to a fundraiser tonight.
I hate that I feel
This way.

It’s like having a friend you love do things you just can’t get down with so you let them go their way. You love em but you don’t have to support the bad things they do.

I’ll tune in and watch just because it’s naturally wired into me. But I’m not excited in the least bit. I don’t support the weak culture Pope has put in. He took all those NBA posters down of players that had what it took. He should have left **** alone. Number nine my ***. Popes so bad he won’t even be able to win last place prize. He will win just enough games to come in second worst.

Nothing exciting about the basketball program right now. Bench players acting entitled like they are superstars. Guys can barely dribble. We have a one armed point guard. Otega Oweh and his five point star care more about flexing and chest pumping after getting up 8 and before losing to a mediocre team. Players posting highlights and selling hats after embarrassment.

As UK fans yes we will watch. But if anybody is actually excited are you really a UK fan. If so you most definitely was playing the violin while the titanic sank in the black misty iceberg ocean.

I cannot say I'm excited. I will watch the game, unless I come up with something better to do ... which is unlikely.
CURIOUS is the best word I can use to describe how I feel about the game. I am simply curious to see how we play and whether we can have a game where more than just a couple of players play well. I must say, though, I find it difficult to understand how we are a 10.5-point favorite.

Can you tell me what excites you about tonight? Winning first conference game? I’m supporting because it’s my team. Can’t say it’s exciting this year. The question was are you excited. I really don’t believe you are excited but good on ya you are better than me.
I’m excited because there are 365 days per year and I only get to watch Kentucky men’s basketball play on about 30-40 days of those.

Yea man I’m a fan and I wait all year for it myself. But it arrived this year and is an embarrassment. Can’t get excited about it. It’s a bad product. I’m not gonna sit here and act excited. Sometimes we need to be honest with the ones we love lol

I love Kentucky basketball and have always been excited about games, here recently though I’m just not. Wasn’t excited for Missouri and I’m not excited about tonight. I’m just checked out with the Pope experiment

I’m honest to a fault. I’m excited. If I’m the “problem” and a “loser” and “Dr. Phil” I’ll wear the hat. Truthfully, I’ve been called just about every name you can think of. I love Kentucky and I always will. I want to win every game but this has been passed down generation to generation to me and it matters too much for the losses to keep me from being excited to watch. My wife and I have had many bad days and I’m still excited about her. I’m married to Kentucky basketball for life, even if that makes me a loser to many.

Right now I feel like I’m watching a train wreck, I can’t look away. I’m still holding out hope that someone will step in at the end of the year and figure this out (Pope is gone and a competent coach is installed). If this extends to next year UK basketball is going to be ignored for a few years, perhaps my whole life if things aren’t fixed soon.

I’m not here to call anybody names. I don’t get offended by a different opinion. Be excited because you just really love it that much sure maybe. But Mark Pope is giving us nothing to be excited about. The man is defeated. We don’t have to bend over backwards while Pope talks to a therapist and gets out of his feelings. We suck. That’s not exciting.

I’m not gonna tell anybody how to be a fan. You want to watch Kentucky tonight like we all do. You want them to win/dominate. Maybe they will. The trajectory of the program is closer to depressing than exciting.

Love the program all you want but saying you’re excited about this season and team you possibly could be part of the problem honestly. Not calling you a bad fan or a name but seriously this isn’t exciting for Kentucky fans. Exciting for other teams. I love seeing Tennessee get beat. Love seeing other teams suck. That’s exciting. Not my own

I don’t take it personally, I knew it would result in me being “the problem.” Just is what it is.

You probably wouldn’t be surprised that people catch hell just for loving the Cats. You can be both:

- Eager to watch every game
- Mad as hell when we lose
I’m eager every game when we have a shot a something meaningful. I didn’t grow the love I have for Kentucky from scraping by Mississippi state. I’m gonna stick with the mindset I had my whole life about Kentucky and that’s not accepting losing for sure. Fireeeeeee that sum birch
^ I’m both of those.

I'm still fighting pneumonia and the flu from last month. Unfortunately I am not excited, disappointment of this season has taken too much of a toll on me. Just gonna' stay in bed and hunker down, trying to get better. Watching Kentucky basketball does nothing to assist in process. Pitiful, pitiful year we are having.

I’m sure they’ll come out flat after Pope’s brilliant pregame motivation. Probably be down at halftime while Pope “collects data”. Hubbard probably goes for 25-30 as we struggle to defend ball screens. If we lose he’ll be so sad in the postgame. Just devastated and certain posters will say, “It’s not on Pope! Leave him alone. He’s a great and smart man that will turn it all around!!!!”

I had to look up the time of the game...Kentucky playing MooSU at 8:30 opposite the Packers/Bears? I'll be watching the NFL game while checking in on the UK game.
