Have been capturing ski footage of myself and my boys over the past few years with my iPhone …. the results have been enjoyable but it’s brutal in -15 windchills and certainly not practical for harder blues and blacks …

wife got me an Insta360 x4 air with the snow kit (includes the chest-mount strap and the derpy helmet mount option) … going on a trip later this month and wondering if I should get the ski pole-mount

also - if you have an Insta - what are you using it for (other than recording OnlyFans content) ?

yes I do, I use it scuba diving. I took it on a trip in Sept, but have yet to look at all of the footage, live happens I guess. All the Divemasters have one, and showed us their footage which for diving looks awesome. There's a technique they use in diving where the put it on the end of a 30'? pole and it looks great, I am not sure how you get the same skiing. I think skkking I would want to put it on the end of a long pole, and maybe rotate it around, IDK.
That said, I did take my drone skiing one time, its a tracking drone, so the stuff came out ok. biggest problem with a drone skiing, imo, is many ski areas do not permit them, and its cold. I needed to take my fingers out of my gloves to get it all set up!! Plus the cold really messes with battery life.

I don’t get the reference but whatever. To a certain extent it is complicated as this thing takes a great 360 picture but then you have to decide what is the best shot via the software. They have some AI software that can help with that. And like many things, the more you use it the better you get. There are plenty of YouTubes on it fwiw

Polaroid commissioned James Garner and Mariette Hartley to shill for their new line of easy-to-use Land (instant) Cameras …. Their flirtatious chemistry in a series of commercials led many to believe there was somethin’ goin on
