He and I never agreed when it came to politics, but we always had good discussions. I know he did a lot for us during the Sandusky incident and I really respected him for that. The Test/Current Events Board discussion made me curious as to where he disappeared to after all these years. Hope he’s still healthy and enjoying good old West Virginia.🙂

demlion posted some on the bwi board after the split, including this year

not aware of any illness or major mishaps

He's still around and posts just not often.

Yeah, @massimoManca II would be the best source of info for an update on demlion.

He was a good poster back when this board was on Rivals. His story about the securing the boat to take on his vacation to Canada was one of the funnier things posted on that board. I was glad that he would repeat it every year or so, as when he first posted it (on the old thread-view software), I don't believe all of the threads were being preserved. (And even if they were, when Rivals switched to topic view, all of the threads were lost.)

I wasn't planning to check in this afternoon. But I ended up having to make an emergency purchase from Amazon, and once on my computer I figured I'd take a quick check. And that lead to my making the reply. ;)

Congratulations on the retirement. I think most of us are either retired or nearly retired are "mostly healthy." lol. It's just the way life is.....

Word is he was playing EA Sports College Football 2026 as Penn State, scored a touchdown, and keeled over from a massive heart attack.

Thanks. Did a search last Friday and his handle didn’t come up. Glad to hear he is still in West Virginia chopping and stacking wood. 🙂

Thanks - everything is going very well … took an early retirement pkg last November, only to be lured by one of my former customers for more $$ so I’m double-dipping like a fiend … oldest son got his masters in May and landed a real job in his field locally … just paid our final tuition bill for our youngest as he expects to graduate in December… been busy training for a bucket-list hiking trip as we leave for Switzerland in 6wks …

Congrats on all accounts. Sounds like life is good. Time to enjoy a Genny Cream Ale. Trip for Switzerland should be outstanding. If you are in europe Sept 7 hit Monza. ;)
