Anyone know why UL was 2.5 favorite over TN today?

One of the more bizzare line moves in recent memory. Kicking myself for not noticing it.
I would've bet the farm had I noticed it. What has UL done to warrant that spread? It's mind boggling. A single game parlay would've netted some good cash.

Yeah I ended up putting a lil money on the hogs to win against Baylor. But kinda worried about that one. I too wish I had bet more; I was kinda in shock... too good to be true it usually ( almost always) is lol.

I was thinking the same thing as I was sitting in my deer stand this morning looking on mgm. I couldn’t believe it. Easy money

I think the last win UL had over a ranked team was January 6th 2021…while an interesting day that’s a LONG time ago.

Was not able to watch the game but UL looks a little better than last year but defense from what i saw on some of youtube UL has no defense. Those that saw the game ...thoughts ?

Can you explain what a parlay is? I am trying to learn all of this betting lingo. I'd appreciate it very much.

I didn’t watch the game but looking at the box score they shot 27% and allowed over 57%. I’d say they have no defense AND no offense.

Vegas has been clueless on Louisville for the last two seasons plus today. In what world would a Louisville team, a bit better than last years, be favored against a top 12 team? Curious what the spread will be when they play Duke.

Having said that, from what I saw today they didn't really give up. A Kenny Payne team would've lost by 40. Louisville got down by 20+ but fought back a few times.

Thanks a bunch!šŸ˜€
FYI a parlay is multiple bets of any kind on any games and any sports that all need to hit for you to win. The original poster referred to a ā€œsame game parlayā€ which is not actually a distinct thing, it just means all ā€œlegsā€ (bets) in the parlay are, you guessed it, on the same game.
