First, only asking because Google for the first time let me down.

Have a younger cousins bday coming up soon. Wants a Nerf Rival Nemesis really bad. These to my knowledge aren't available in the USA.

But have a friend going to Canada soon, are they for sure available in stores up there?

Thanks for real responses. Also will enjoy the usual.

Gotta admit, if it wasn't for the weather and responsibilities, etc., I would consider moving to Canada.

It seems like America without the ********.

I live in Phoenix. There are more Canadians here in the winter than are left in Canada.

Spent a few weeks in Vancouver last year. It is a very beautiful place but the average rent is unaffordable for most Canadians. The problem is that the Chinese and Japanese are buying up all the real estate and have created a huge bubble. On the plus side, Vancouver is loaded with hot Asian chicks. The rest of Canada is too damn cold in the winter.

I'll have my brother check some stores in Toronto - if they have it, I can have him buy and ship to you.

What's the exact product it is you're after? Can you post a picture?

The weather is the worst part of it. Where I grew up, -30 was common. If you didn't plug in your car overnight in the winter, you were screwed in the morning. Watching the moisture in your breath freeze as you exhale is no fun.

That said, there are parts of Canada in which the winters aren't nearly that bad. Avoid the plains and anything north of Lake Huron and it's tolerable.

Outside of that, I honestly don't see much difference in day to day life. The schools here aren't as good, but I think that' more an indictment of Kentucky than it is the US in general. I have to pay for health insurance here but I also pay a lot less in taxes which more than offsets those costs. The biggest thing for me is that the golf season here is several months longer :)

This is what he wants. I have no idea what they cost up there. But yea if you could see if they are even available up there I would appreciate it.

Thanks John.

Yes there are but, if I was gonna pay that amount I would rather just buy him a real gun. Or maybe Mary Jane like Willy said lol
For what Ebay wants, you could probably buy both, the real gun and the Mary Jane.

I'd move to northern Ontario in a second if I could find a decent job there. I like the snow and cold, it scares most folks off.

He's been working non stop on a house restoration USS, but will be out and about on Saturday and is going to look sir.

I really appreciate it. My friend doesn't go up till middle of June. But just want an idea what these cost. Hell depending on shipping I could just PayPal you or brother.

But spoiled little **** better hope they are not as much on eBay. Because then he's getting a BB gun. Ha

That's where I grew up Pygmy. I will say I miss the hunting, fishing, and winter sports. Up there, outdoor hockey rinks are like basketball courts are here. Each little subdivision has one. And it's hard to beat hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails.

What type of hunting did you do there John?

Deer, Moose, Duck, Partridge.

The fishing was the best. Literally within 10 minutes of my house on my bicycle, I had access to fish for a couple dozen different species.

Sounds very familiar, I spent most of middle school and high school across the Lake in the Keweenaw. Damn near every day I was on my bike to a beaver pond or lake. I was all about the fishing, but liked hunting snowshoes and partridge too. Nice country.

I've heard the smallmouth fishing in Canada is amazing.

Did you walk the Partridge up, or use a dog? I have a pretty good Bird dog.

You should try Turkey hunting next spring, KY has some of the best Turkey hunting around success wise, and it's a pretty good rush when a bird comes in gobbling.

That's awesome. I hunt, but I love fishing.

Dude - they are everywhere up there. And those little bastards take little chunks out when they bite you.
