I almost always root for the B1G in out-of-conference match-ups, especially in bowl games and the NCAA tourney. I also really like Izzo & feel like it was ridiculous that the second-strongest conference's regular season co-champ and BTT champ didn't get a 1-seed. Cheered loudly when Sparty beat Duke, even though it ruined my bracket. Just curious: Anyone around here NOT pulling for Michigan State?

Texas Tech has quite the underdog story, and it would be fun to see them win it all. That said, I generally root for the B1G, so I'm conflicted. I wish they weren't playing each other in the semi-finals, as I don't care at all about Auburn or UVA.
As a UTEP fan, I can't ever cheer for another Texas team to win it all. (A similar deal for Loyola-Chicago fans, I'm sure.)
Plus, I'm a huge admirer of Izzo, so MSU all the way.
My son attends UVA. So I want them to win. That said MSU winning would be welcome as well! Go Big!
I'd probably feel the same way if there were a Texas team I really cared about. Instead, it's kind of fun watching the entitled UT and A&M fans grit their teeth as a "second tier" school like Tech plays in the Final Four.
Well, it's not just that there's another Texas team I care about, but that's the only Texas team that has ever won it all.
Like Loyola for Illinois.
That's pretty amazing, and it's something I wasn't even aware of. UH in the early '80s with Clyde and Hakeem was probably the closest another Texas school got to a championship, and they certainly had the talent to win it.
Tech's looking good tonight and might be making UTEP fans nervous.
That was tough. I was really pulling for Tech tonight. I'm starting to think there's a jinx now with teams from Texas not being able to win the national championship. Men's basketball, of course, because the Baylor women won just yesterday!
