I hear there are parts of it that are very interesting.

The dreaded four letter word.....According to Amazon, no ghost writer. It's co-authored by Bob and Gene Wojciechowski (ESPN).
Zero interest in reading this....
Honest curiosity, any specific reason? The Gene thing?
I think Gene might have had an interest in Bob, because Gene is from Salinas, KS.
An unauthorized biography by John Hoover would probably be more entertaining. LMAO.
Got it. His public demeanor was certainly resemblant of Lurch.
From the small tidbits of his private life and post-coaching life I've caught, I'm not sure that's reality. I'll probably read it and hope that he doesn't come across as Bob Stoops, OU Football Coach.
Absolutely. And Tramel should write on on Westbrook!
Bob Stoops aloofness was an interesting thing to observe. The guy just never seemed interesting enough for me to invest my time to reading his life story. Nothing against him.
Nothing to do with Gene, although I'm also irascibly ambivalent towards him.![]()
Rumor has it that Bob told Mike he would not mention him. Mike reportedly said that if he did he hoped he would not have to Defend it.![]()

I hope his book contains a chapter on apologizing for his mistake in re-hiring a brother and allowing him to totally destroy a once great Sooner defense.
It was already destroyed due to complacency. Mike was just the wrong guy to right the ship.
Year after year focus seems to be extremely rare. Saban is an extremely rare person, and I think he actually benefits from having high turnover in his assistant staff. Bob wanted to keep all of his homies in his camp and just coast year after year. He didn't have that same unwavering drive as Saban.
