Anyone see this UK article regarding Wendell Carter?

What's the likelihood carter, Trent, and Knox all end up Blue Devils?

And Bamba, pretty good I believe. I think Knox, Carter and Trent Jr. are almost a sure thing. I know there is no sure thing in recruiting but... And if Duke got those four it would be pretty damn sweet.

I had heard about Deng Gak and Quade Green as well...would be a nice class, but certainly not counting the chickens yet

I wouldn't say anyone is a "lock" yet and of course things could change. Plus Smitty is going to be the only one behind when the staff is in Rio (actually Nate too I believe). But of course K will call or text his guys when everything opens back up while he's there.

Anyway I'd say in terms of likelyhood of committing, we can think of it like this (of course this is fluid and can and will change):

Gak
Green
Carter
Knox
Trent
Bamba

We will be more than likely adding a sixth to this class based on potential losses and it's a good bet it'll be a 3-4 year swing player.

Not feeling good about Bamba?

Sorry I fixed it.

I don't know yet. He's at the bottom of my list but not because I don't think he'd commit. More of a not a lot of information yet type of situation. He's been brand neutral other than his lists.

I think Duke is in a good place with the recruits they want, but there is nothing yet that screams "he's coming here!" If that makes sense.

Yeah, how about Carter, Bamba, Knox, Trent Jr. and Quade Green. Unlike over at THR, it isn't a total pipe dream here. Not only that but it is very possible that it will become a reality.

Feel like a lot of it will come down to who actually ends up leaving. There will likely be 5 departures, and if one of Bolden or Jackson leaves, that certainly opens up the door for Knox, Trent, Green, Gak, and Carter. Bamba is the wild card and may not come if Bolden, Jeter, Carter, Gak, DeLaurier, and Vrank are all around

I thought I would spare everybody and post only one paragraph of one of DSouthr's rants, which actually wasn't all that long for him. Would like to know where D "heard" Bamba will not go where Carter goes. Or is he just trying to convince himself it won't happen so he can sleep better at night, for now...

"Point is lots of us hear stuff, I have heard Bamba and Carter will not go to the same school because they both want to be the featured front court guy on the team they commit to, that they are more likely to compete against each other than to play with each other, those 2 guys are looking to be NBA lotto guys and maybe #1 over alls and pretty much play the same position. That does not make for a great package deal does it, doesn't mean it can't happen but does not strike me as likely so I have my anti duke spin perspective on carter and Bamba both to duke. I admit it but I am not on a duke site saying that either..."

Oops, wrong thread.

Bamba isn't a scorer and actually wants to play with other bigs. Carter can play inside out. They'd be just fine together. Haha. A lot of what will drive Bamba are departures.

I would argue they fit absolutely perfect together based on their games. But hey call me crazy.

I read somewhere that he hasn't heard from UK in months and that he hears from Duke and Harvard on a daily basis. Good for us. Also I noticed the crystal ball for Wendell Carter is back to 100% Duke.
