I don't watch every race, but I watch the fun ones. Daytona, Bristol, Martinsville, Talladega, etc. Curious to see these new cars in action.

I’m watching. Seem to be having issues with the new alloy wheels.

To me NASCAR is about as exciting as watching grass grow or paint dry. I'd rather watch PGA. No disrespect intended.. I mean football is over and you can only watch so much Netflix and Peacock.

Napcar. Dirt is for racing, pavement is for getting there.
Did you see what happened when they raced on dirt at Bristol? The fans are still probably cleaning dirt out of their ears and @ss cracks.

Yep but most dirt tracks aren't anywhere near that dusty, not even close. 410 sprint cars were turning 143+ mph laps on that half mile dirt. The best the NASCAR cars could do was 87 mph.

Not really a fan but used to watch when my uncle was a rig driver who hauled the car and equipment. Occasionally he did some garage work too before retirement.

BK wrecking others. Call me shocked…not.
Nascar was great when they let the drivers fight and carry grudges week to week. And the drivers were relatable.
Now it’s very sanitized and ā€œcorporateā€. Public image before all. Bunch of young guys all with the same haircuts and pimp strap stubble beards.
I only watch until May when the weather changes and I can be outside on Sundays.
The new cars do look nice though.

A guy from my old neighborhood ran against Kinser back in the 90's on TNN. šŸ‘

I don’t like that they got rid of a regular Bristol race. Bristol has always been one of the best tracks. If you want to race on dirt there, fine, but go 3x then. Drop the first Kansas race or something like that. Don’t get rid of one of the best races of the year.

They paid the price by building all the 1.5 mile tracks across the country and they are trying to correct it now. Hence the race in the LA Coliseum.

I use NASCAR often as an example of if it ain't broke don't fix it. They had the world by the balls and screwed it all up with a new points system that the casual fan can't follow. Then they built all the cookie cutter tracks and the "car of tomorrow ". Give me a Bristol, Martinsville, Daytona, Talladega, Dover, Charlotte and Watkins Glen schedule on rewind and bring back a sensible points system and I might watch again.

I cringe when MLB and NFL screw with the playoffs. Too much and watered down can turn fans away.

I’m neutral too it. The cutoff races in the playoffs are certainly heightened, but I like F1 just the same and that’s pretty straightforward.

I didn't even know it was Daytona weekend until Sunday evening. I watched the Genesis tournament at Riviera Saturday and Sunday.
