Watchout. I picked App State in the underdog contest. This team returned almost their whole team, is full of vets, and had a great season lastyear. Not saying they WILL win but UT wont cover the 21. I expect a better than expected game.

This is the best game of the three I've been watching. Appy looks good and is beating Rocky Top on the line of scrimmage. Quitting the UL game and will watch Vandy-USC during commercials.
I doubt it lasts, but maybe this will shut up some UT fans...oh wait, no it won't.
I'm not sure what the Vol guy was supposed to do. Kick catch interference was the right call I just question what exactly guys are supposed to do in order to avoid targeting. The punt returner didn't call fair catch and went down to catch the kick. I guess maybe slide tackle him? Letter of the law it was certainly the right call I just don't know what else he was supposed to do.
Totally agree with you about the TD catch. Obvious drop and Musberger could not comprehend why it wasn't a catch. Maybe he didn't see the ball on the ground? He's not very good anymore.
I think UT will recover in the 2nd half. Right now, though, it is a very surprising contest.
I didn't have a good view, but it looked like he had it to me, until he hit the ground.
I'm surprised Musburger knows where he is at. For my sake I hope UT loses. Sports radio in Nashville would be epic!

Thats what i thought was going to happen the last drive of the half... cant believe dobbs has only completed 1 pass in his career that went over 30 yards in air.
It was a very short wave, and only noticeable during one replay.. of course musberger missed it.

App state offense eats a lot of clock. Defenses is good, but really limiting number of possessions allows a team without a lot of depth hang around longer.
Dobbs interception at end of half was a terrible decision. Really suprised that play from him.
On another tread couple guys were really praising butch jones and said if he was here we would be favorite to win east this year. Used stoops can't coach cause of close wins against ULL. Just shows there is a reason they play the games and anyone can be upset at anytime.
It struggled in the fourth quarter all last year, hopefully that continues into this season.
