We recently upgraded our phones and went from Samsung Galaxy to Apple Iphone 11's. I am thinking of getting my wife an Apple Watch for Christmas. Is it worth the extra $125-150 for the 6 over the SE? I have also looked at the Series 5 but there is only $25 difference in it and the Series 6. I plan to wait until some of the Black Friday sales to see if anyone puts something on sale just wondering if you guys might have experience and know if there is that much difference in the Series 5, 6 and SE.

Thanks for the link. I was also hoping someone might have personal experience and could give the pro's/con's as well.

The biggest difference (for most people’s needs, IMO) is the 6 has an “always on” display.

It also has ECG and blood oxygen monitoring. The ECG is nice because it can tell you if you have some heart arythmia’s going on - if that seems like a nice thing to be informed about.

I wonder how accurate the ECG and Oxygen Monitoring are. She has never owned a smart watch so would the always on be a big deal?

In a weird way, “always on” would be a big deal - but one that she’ll never notice. Otherwise, she’ll have to flick her wrist to see the watch face.

Obviously none of this a big deal in the grand scheme, but may be for this limited scope we’re talking about here.
