Ryan Young deserves his own thread for how he played last night. Finishes +8 in a game we lost by 9, and with 17 points, it's the 2nd-most in a B1G game in the KenPom era by a freshman big as far as I can tell, only behind The Pardon Game when he took ownership of the state of Nebraska. Not only that, but he outscored future NBA player Smith 15-13 when both were on the court (of Smith's 22 points, 7 came with Jones at C and 2 with Nance at C in the 1st half).
Additionally, props to Ryan Greer, who gave the team 6 quality minutes in the 1st half going +8 to help get the team back in the game after they dug an 11-point hole early.
