Franklin is usually good at / seems to care about covering the spread. But I think we're 0-4 ATS so far this year. What's the spread ths week at UCLA? And how ya gonna play it?

Correct. UCLA line is around -26.5. James Franklin teams have typically performed poorly after losses in big games. Add in a cross country trip and I wouldn't touch this game even though PSU has the ability to blow them out.

They lost at home to New Mexico this season, but New Mexico probably has a better offense than PSU. Anyway, I would have a very short leash with any starter who appears to be just going through the motions in this game or is having a letdown from last week, and that would go with even the NIL millionaires.

Teams lose to teams that they should beat all the time, so just because UCLA lost to NM, doesn't mean that really are worse than NM.

NM does not have a better offense than PSU.

Not so sure it would be a good idea to pull Allar, but I guess the back up QB is often fans favorite player.

I wasn’t just referring to the qb, but to any starter who doesn’t bring their A game against UCLA for whatever reason. Also, as long as the offensive staff keeps putting together these horrendous game plans, I don’t know if Josh Allen could be successful. So, as little as I think of Allar as a good qb, he probably still is our best hope, which is sad on many levels.

And UCLA seemed less dysfunctional vs NW. I don’t see PSU covering.
