Are We Cursed Or Does The Sports God Hate UK Now?

A few weeks ago we were headed towards a new football coach thats highly needed and then they start winning out of nowhere which puts in doubt Stoops getting fired.

With basketball we beat the crap out of the preseason #1 without Lowe or JQ. They played completely different in that game than every other game this year. The ball movement, defense and cohesiveness were all great. Then shortly after the switch gets flipped and all of that turned to crap.

So the football team that we needed to lose games is now winning and the basketball team that we need to win is now losing games. It’s like the sports god is somewhere twirling the ends of his mustache laughing at his evil plan for Kentucky.
He let us have just enough hope and optimism in both sports to make it sting now that’s all being taken away.

That purdue game was a meaningless exh. game and also served as fools gold. We are literally mirroring Arky last year. We actually remind me of Arkansas from last year

Agreed it was fools gold but Purdue was playing that like a real game and so were we. What gets me is the passing and movement with and without the ball was at a very high level. It was a big reason for the success that game. Since that game though the offense has looked nothing like that. It looks like Cal’s where everyone just stands around waiting for someone to go one on one. Our players don’t have the talent to do that and win.

We are looking at a bunch of guys who know they can't shoot. They don't play with shot making confidence. They are just as happy for the ball to not come to them. Let someone else try to score because I know I can't. We are in Hell

Going forward you have to wonder if these type of classics will keep inviting Kentucky to play in them. They quit asking Indiana a long time ago. You can’t get beat the way Kentucky did last night and stay relevant on the national scene.
