Like the Canadá trips or Bahamas? Just curious. I feel like those types of games would be great for this group.

A team can only do one of those summer trips once every 4 years. So I believe next summer, in 26, they will be allowed to do so again.
Pope is a traditionalist embracing history of the University. I’m sure we will be back in the Bahamas or something similar soon enough.
Sounds like we are going to be seeing fewer of those. Good article.

We are doing an exhibition game with St. John’s and Pitino right??
Georgetown and Purdue too. Both at Rupp. St. John's December 20th at State Farm Arena in the CBS Sports Classic..
So what happened to only allowing preseason games with small schools such as NAIA,D2,D3? Was there another policy change?

Yes, i think they give revenue to charity or something now for D1 exhibitions.
Supposedly played La Familia today and won by 6. Oweh was a stud.
Yeah it used to have to be non D-1. The only way you could play a D1 was in a "secret scrimmage" which wasn't allowed to be publicized.
And then a few years ago they started to allow the "charity exhibitions", because the NCAA would have looked HORRIBLE if they didn't allow schools to raise money for charity.
But now, they just allow those games openly, don't have to donate the money to charity, and lord knows UK Athletics won't be donating the revenue from the Purdue or Georgetown games.
