I have heard that gary-7 started a thread called "My apologies" over at THR, and rumor has it that some of the robots that hang on to gary-7's every breath, have asked him to not post "STATS AND STUFF". Instead, some want everybody make their own assumptions of the game from the traditional box score!?!?!? Are they nuts?

It's not just the Tar Heel fan base that would be hurt by this. I think I speak for a lot of people, when I say that I tend to feel more dumb than I already am, when I don't get to view STATS AND STUFF after each game. Gary, you have a gift, one that sheds light on the college basketball world. Don't throw that away because NOVA twisted that dagger last night.
I thought I saw you last night with Michael Jordan and some members from your "mafia", so I am hoping that you just had a long night talking hoops at the Waffle House (I know you love Bert's chili), with the Carolina family, and that you probably haven't got around to doing STATS AND STUFF. Please, please post it soon gary-7, the beginning stages of withdrawal are setting in and its a long way until November. Just tickle my balls one more time gary-7, one more time is all I ask.
If you decide to post STATS AND STUFF, which I know you will, could you please comment on a few of my wonders...
1. Why didn't Carolina guard Nova's best outside shooter, and let him walk into a three at the end of the game last night?
2. I know Carolina fans are always talking about how they are family, my question is how come they only show up when they have a dominant team and are "expected" to win? I mean, I never see the Goat, Sheed, Jamison, Ndiaye, when Carolina is mediocre. This concerns me, as I feel Carolina is going to be mediocre for a few years. Does this mean Carolina won't have their support?
3. I know this is a recurring topic, but again it's a long way until November... What the hell is the deal with the NCAA and referee's having it out for Carolina? I don't think I have the wisdom and mental makeup that you have, so please elaborate on why is it that every time that the Tar Heels lose, it's the NCAA and the referees teaming up on Carolina?
4. Does Ole Roy really cry after placing his order at a drive-thru window?
If anybody has anything they would like gary-7 to comment on before the long 6 month STATS AND STUFF break, I guess post your questions on this thread. I know you are going to pull through for us gary-7, I can feel it!
If anybody knows whereabouts of gary-7, or if you hear from gary-7, please post. I'm concerned about the life of STATS AND STUFF! I'm getting concerned that if we don't hear from gary-7, that I might have to write STATS AND STUFF myself. Lord knows I can't fill them shoes!
