Arizona Golf trip

Anyone done a golf trip to AZ? Looking at Phoenix/Scottsdale in early March?

Lots of great courses. Any lesser known courses that should be played?

Recommendations appreciated.

Had a business meeting in Scottsdale last September, played TPC Scottsdale. Awesome course, was actually very cheap, but the heat was unbearable which was why it was cheap. They had attendants that would give you frozen towels every other hole because it was so hot.

That's crazy. Hoping it isn't that hot in March. I think that is one of their high seasons so hope that means decent weather.

I have been a few times in June/July when the rates go down.

If money is no object, you must play:
Boulders (north of Scottsdale) (either or both courses)
We Ko Pa (Fountain Hills) (either or both courses)
Troon North (Monument or Pinnacle or both)
Greyhawk (Played Raptor, Talon is probably as good)
TPC Scottsdale Stadium (Just for S's and G's)

Vistal
Longbow
Eagle Mountain (Fountain Hills)
Las Sendas

Thanks BT&T. Going to try to hit one from the first list and then go a little cheaper on the other rounds. Which one of the first list would you play if you could only play one.

Boulders is pretty cool. You are routed through these boulders where you see no houses or man made objects for a number of holes. It is about 30-40 miles out of town though.

Troon is great as well and is closer.

Any of those big dogs is a can't miss. Have fun.
