No depth, inferior PG to both of UK's, and inferior coach.

I'm not scared of a team that lost to ASU, UNLV and Oregon State.

I watched them play UCLA. Pretty unimpressed.

I rewatched the Final Four last year- Wisconsin couldn't handle our athleticism. When we turned it up, we went on a 20-4 run. This team is athletic.

Zona would make for a better game, but we'd win by 8-10. Wisky couldn't hang with Duke, definitely can't hang with us.

Just watching them play Stanford. Apparently a lot of players in that game want to go to Fuddruckers after the game. A lot of them are talking about it.

An inferior coach with a 75% winning percentage. Hmmm.......

We wouldn't see them until at least the Final Four. I'm not about to start worrying about that on March 7th.

I meant in comparison to Cal Chuck, not overall.

i think greenberg is right. they're a possession team, and i think we'd get more of them if we played. i like the cats a lot in that matchup but it would be entertaining defensively.

No offense Jersey, but that game was not easy for Duke. They should have lost it.

I've watched Arizona three or four times. Saw them lose to Arizona State and saw them in a battle at home against UCLA. Their bigs can play, you're right. But I really think we wear them down in the second half. Same goes for Wiscy and VA. I just don't see anyone with the depth and size we have...

Yes, but wouldn't we kill for that bracket?

The thing about Arizona is that pretty much every time I've watched them, they went at least one really long chunk of time without scoring.

I've seen the words "their", "there", and "they're" misused no less than a dozen times on here the last few days.

we have scoring droughts too.

arizona is the one team that can match our length and athleticism. so much of what we do is on the offensive glass, think they can take that away.

Arizona is garbage. I hope we do play them. They won't be able to contain us. Sorry if some of you think otherwise, but having watched them play a good portion of this year, ugh. They're not impressive. Not at all.

Arizona is definitely NOT garbage. I think a lot depends on the play of Dakari and Marcus. If both play like they did during last year's run, it won't be as close of a match as most people think. However if today's Dakari shows up vs Arizona they could give us trouble.

Apologies, I must disagree with your assessment. Their bigs will get pushed around by ours. Their guards are nothing compared to ours and the only thing to save them in the tourney will be a good whistle. Otherwise, it will be another short tourney run for the 'other' Wildcats.

I sure hope some of you posters dont have government jobs as your judgement and analysis is just like thinking the titanic didn't sink.

NOBODY IS GOING TO BEAT KENTUCKY

The sooner you accept this, the better off you will be.

nssdigitalchumps, looks like you don't know much about Arizona.

They don't have Kentucky depth but have decent depth. Certainly not no depth.

McConnell is a far better point guard than Harrison. He'll win his second in a row all Pac-12 1st team defense award this year, and is the front runner to win MVP for the entire Pac-12 conference.

McConnell vs. Harrison......

McConnell.....
Is a better defenderFouls lessGets more stealsHas a MUCH higher offensive efficiency ratingHas a MUCH higher assist rateHas a lower turnover rateHas a MUCH higher eFG%....10% higherAnd intangibles, is a much better leader

I think they are an outstanding, dangerous team capable of beating anyone. If they make their regional final in LA they are going to have the crowd, and overall have an excellent chance of finally making the Final 4 this year under Miller.

The only guy on Arizona's team that concerns me is Stanley Johnson. UK doesn't have anyone to match up with a really good athletic SF. But then Johnson will have to attempt to defend Trey Lyles, which could be hilarious.

There's no way you've watched them play a good portion of this year to say they're garbage or not impressive, especially because over the last month they're playing as good as anyone in the nation.

Arizona's starting center is as big/strong as anyone in Kentucky's lineup and won't get pushed around. Arizona's starting power forward isn't a bruiser but he's not frail either (6'9" 230 lbs). He's the biggest defensive weakness in the starting lineup in large part due to an off/on motor and slower feet when guarding quicker 4's.

Now if their front line gets in foul trouble, that's where Arizona will have the biggest problem. It's backup center while 7' and 245 lbs, is not a physical player at all (more finesse). They do have a physical bulldog garbageman type PF/C (6'10" 235 lbs) who's like a 10th man and only plays in rare spots, but he won't get pushed around. Just not someone you want to have in offensively. Definitely give Kentucky the overall front line edge.

Kentucky is going to have a problem handling Arizona's wings. Rondae Hollis Jefferson is the best defender Kentucky has seen all year and will be glued to Booker. Not sure who is going to defend Stanley Johnson, a 6'8" 250 lb mack truck shooting guard who outmuscles everyone who tries to guard him.

While Arizona's guards don't compare to Kentucky's (apples to oranges type players)......McConnell and Johnson are as good as any PG/SG combo Kentucky has to throw at them.

If Arizona gets in foul trouble, it'll be a long day for them. If the refs let them play, it'll be a great matchup with Kentucky having a slight edge.
