It’s early but 4 of Arizona’s 7 players that have played have never played a college game. I didn’t do any research of them pregame so I’m surprised seeing the line now in retrospect.

On paper at least that doesn’t feel like a top 15 team. Peat and Burries have to be BIG time for that to be the case.

Watching the game. It got me wondering about Fland and why did he really leave Cal. It couldn’t be the money because Cal has chicken money, I wouldn’t think. Anyways not turning it into a Cal thread just wondered if there’s more to the story. Florida is better I think but Arizona is playing good, I’m taking them.

Man I love basketball season!

“Koa Peat” - not just Peat. As if there are a bunch of Peats on the floor and we might get confused.

He’s better than DJ and isn’t gonna sit behind him like Reed and Dilly.

I do not see the #3 team in the country with the Gators. Kentucky’s athleticism would overrun them at this point.

Florida had to take a step back this year. I am not surprised they lost. Kentucky seems to be the frontrunner for the SEC this year. We shall see. But Florida will be a tough out. No doubt.

Florida looked exactly what I thought they would look like.

Their front court is tough, and very good.

Their guard play is a HUGE drop off from last year, and was quite frankly an issue last night. Lee and Fland were a combined 8/26.

Lee played his entire career vs Harvard and Yale. Arizona is a huge step up. He's an ok player. But the media have been acting like Florida went out and got this elite guard. People are getting a little too cute with their "I know ball" stuff.

Fland has talent. But he dominates the ball. He takes too many tough mid range fade aways. Arkansas got better after he was hurt last year. He has to learn how to play at the college level.

Not just losing Clayton Jr., but losing Will Richards is a VERY big loss. Same for Martin. Richards did a lot more for the team than he got credit for. He is never mentioned.

I know one thing, AZ is going to be a problem come March! Koa Peat is the damn truth!

Pope/ UK (NIL) probably paid Garrison more money than KP was asking! Ouch🔥
