Bakers story is a great one, why would anyone have an axe to grind with such a feel good story as Mayfields rise? Man I hope Baker wins it and the Sooners win it all and it shuts up these idiots for a while.

Every program is going to have it's haters. Had the roles been reversed in this story and Baker was playing for Texas or Alabama, I have no doubt some on here would be hating on him simply for the uniform he is wearing. Hope this puts things into perspective when it gets under your skin that some out there hate on OU every chance they get.

Exactly CT!! I'm comfortable with what I think about the teams I am a fan of, and I really don't put alot of mental thought into people that dislike or hate the teams I enjoy. Those people are completely irrelevant and don't even deserve the energy it takes to even create a thread about it. That only serves to feed their motives in knowing they are succeeding in getting under the skins of some of the fanbase associated with the team/program their hatred is funneled towards.

I just thought it was strange he said that about Mayfield and not any other Heisman Candidates. He takes shots at OU every chance he gets. I think most arkie fans hate OU to this day because Keith Jackson signed with OU, that and what OU has done with their football program. I saw it in another post and its true, when a piggie fan tries to talk smack about OU and you are winning the argument they immediately become Bama fans and say, Bama has won this and Bama has won that and Bama is a better program than OU blah blah blah. Call me a hater but I really feel like Henry probably deserves the Heisman more than Baker does this year. The guy was a beast against us in the Sugar bowl and seems to have gotten even better. Next year could be Mayfields year for the award.
