Anyone who has been awake the last 5 years knew what was coming in Fayetteville.
We have our revenge for Nolan Richardson giving all our plays to UAB(and all the other crap he did)
Seth Greenberg doesn’t.
The only way they are going to get better is to bench DJ.
He needs about 15-20 min a game backing up Davis and Fland.

Cal is Mike Anderson with better talent but in a conference where almost every other coach is better than he is.

Dang! I forgot about that. Man that UAB loss still stings when I think about it. We were a juggernaut that season. It was one of the best TEAMS I've seen here. GREAT passing and it was beautiful to watch.
It was. I bet a friend at school every game during SEC season. I won $10 every game that year lmfao. It was awesome.

When you have a player call a timeout because he knows something needs to change you have a problem. We have a bad coaching staff that has no clue what to do when we can't out talent teams. Teams with smart mature guards will hurt us all year.

Big fat this. They are flat out awful to watch.
Team sucks that what happened. I've been watching some CBB this season. I'm not sure there is an SEC team we can beat. Maybe South Carolina or LSU.

I don't understand what Arkansas brass and fans thought they were getting. If they just looked at Cal's last 5 years at UK, they should have known he was washed.
This would be like someone taking Denny Crum right at the end of his coaching career, yeah, he had some success in his younger years, but these guys don't just come alive and change just because they moved to a different town.

It's all about the pomp and circumstance and just hope and pray the results come. With each game it's looking like a dumpster fire and I'm all here for it. Cal lost his way after that 2015 season. That genie is never getting back in that bottle. Different times now.
Just like we knew. Can't shoot, uninspired, terrible offense, over coached, individually focused, etc. Tried to tell them.
Last night was the first time I watched most of an Arkansas game this year. It really is exactly the same as what he was doing at UK. No difference at all. Does Cal even make it to the end of his contract with Arkansas?

Considering how strong the rest of the SEC has become, it will be good to play against at least 1 poorly coached team.
Sounds like some Arkansas fans are smarter than some posters on this board. There were several last season still defending him, and they had years to figure it out, not half a season.
They really have one of the easiest schedules in the SEC.
They get UK, UT, AU, Bama, aTm, and Florida only once
Home games against Ole Miss, OU, and Miss St.
LSU, Mizzou, Texas they play twice.
On second thought it's probably THE easiest schedule in the SEC.
I didn't remember/know Nolan did that. That team that lost to UAB was one of my favs, Fitch, Daniels, Hayes, they had no superstar but they played team ball better than any other UK team. Went undefeated in the SEC.
Tubby Smith was a man of integrity that made the mistake of thinking Nolan was also and that he could trust him.
Nolan was not.
Yeah Tubby invited him to our practice before the UAB game and he went straight back to Mike Anderson, his former assistant coach, and told him our entire game plan. He even sat behind the UAB bench during the game if I recall correctly. They knew everything we tried to do.
The majority of Ark fans hated Cal while he was at UK, I was always curious when it would start to implode. He has zero goodwill built up with that fanbase and if he goes to the same tired lines it might get even uglier than when he was in Lex.
They're already thinking about 2/1. Arky is going to be like the SEC teams of old (before we were this basketball power conference) - they don't care how many they lose as long as they win that one against Kentucky.
They have problems galore (starting with their coach), yet their own media is already tweeting randomly about how they can't wait for 2/1.
I'll 100% guarantee Pope has our Cats ready for that game.
You are correct. NR is a UK hater. Played for Texas Western in 66 against the Rupps Runts and was brainwashed to believe that everything about UK was racist.
He NEVER got beyond those feelings, even though Tubby was our coach.
