UK's tried a lot of different approaches trying to find a football coach who can win, why not try to out-slime UL? Plus maybe hire him before Auburn does.

I would never support hiring that miscreant. At some point, morals and ethics have to take the top seat over winning. I'm pretty sure Briles qualifies as being well past that point.
Art Briles would be a huge coup for UK! It would be the one of the most hype inducing events to take place in the history of the program. On the same level as Harbaugh coming home to Michigan. UK would never do it though. UL would make that smart move. Not UK.

He's a good man, he's going to coach again, and he will win. Wouldn't it be great if it could happen at UK. The more I read about him the more I think he'd be a good fit with Mitch Barnhart. But we have to act now. He's going to be coaching somewhere next season.

Let's go after Joel Osteen with Franklin Graham for defensive coordinator. They might be able to meet Mitch and our fans' ethical standards. They won't win a game but at least we can sleep well at night with our holier than thou attitude while other schools laugh at and mock us.

Bill Curry had strong morals and ethics. Some people got real offended when UK fired him. They would say UK had their priorities all messed up. After all, under Curry UK graduated its players, and had a strong football academic record. Curry was a strong and loyal family man as well. Also, a strong Christian. Why the hell did UK fire him?
Olsteen would never take that pay cut to be a major college football coach. Maybe there is somone in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes talent pool UK could tap.

Exactly what more than a few morons on this board told us about Bobby Petrino. The notion Briles won't be coaching anytime soon represents a complete disconnect from reality.
Briles will be in the pro's. What a bunch of deadbeat fans we have pining for the Petrino's and Briles' of the world. Some of our fans deserve a loser program as they are losers, themselves. Probably didn't even go to college.

Not to worry. UK will never hire scum, so the portion of our fanbase that has no morals can enjoy the hell that is UK Football. Not glad that we lost, but Stoops is incompetent so in a way it's cool that I won't be wasting Saturday's this year watching the calamity as there is ZERO chance for a bowl game now.

The school, my question is what did Art Briles do? I run into these same problems when people call Cal a cheater. I ask what he did and no one can ever answer.

It's amazing to me how many moral superiors we have on this board. Let me be simple: What we are doing (and what we have done) for 60 years, is NOT WORKING. Not sure what you people are thinking. We have gone the Div II route (Mumme). We have gone the DC from big-time school route (Stoops). We have gone the "established winner" route (Curry). We gone the alumnus who comes home route (Claiborne). We have gone the coach-in-waiting homegrown route (Joker).
While we have done this, I've watched South Carolina win the east. I've watched Missouri come in and win the east twice. I've watched UT tank for the better part of 10 years. I've watched UF lose to Georgia Southern while have lost to UF for 30 years. I've watched Vandy win 9 games. There's no way, with all of this, that the best UK can do is a couple of music city bowls. I'm sorry, that just makes no sense. UK has gobs of money. UK is in the country's best conference. UK has facilities. UK has a reasonable fanbase (relative to our conference brethren) that is hungry to win. This is insane. WE have got to go out and hire an assassin that wins. Do it now, Mitch, or you should be fired too.

Noone. But he helped cover up a bunch. No way the same adminstration that kicked out Tubman gives Briles an OK.
