It just wasn't cool to say ABOUT ANY player true or not but POYTHRESS SUCKS really? If he hadn't got hurt things would be a lot worse for some teams lol I just can't believe a COACH would say this I am shocked! sounds like RICK, Jim B, who knows JUST WRONG

Meh, the guy did back off it a bit, and he is a 4 we were playing at the 3. His offensive skills aren't his forte either. There was an intangible there though, just the effort and fight he brought on D and rebounding. I thought we were better with him, and the two, true platoons. We did win some big games very comfortably while he was in the LU. That can't be ignored, early on or not.

Freakin loved to see alex hustle back for a superhuman block or watch one of his freakish follow up jams. Inconsistent, fine. Sucks, no way.

Poythress's only fault is that he is a "4" in a prototypical "3" body. He may never be a true effective wing, at least on offense.

Yeah I read that article it made my blood boil. I would love for the name of that coach to get leaked out. This team would be soo much better with Alex. Our offense started slowly with him in the lineup but Cal would have figured it out. This was also the time when our 3pt shooting was in a terrible slump. Just his hustle, rebounding and blocks were off the charts. You think he couldn't handle the pick and roll? Cal would have eventually moved him back to the four and Lyles to the 3 with the first team. Cal would have made it work.
