She's bad arse.

The moment Melisandre mentioned eye color it hit me, what Arya would do.

The knife drop was clutch. My girl getting work done. Aryan has always been my favorite character in the books and show.

I have about 10 preset color settings. It tooj a bit to find a setting

We decided before the show to switch to the projector, glad we did.

When he grab Arya, for a brief second I thought.... Oh no.... then she dropped the knife.

When Arya jumped in do you think every fan of the show instantaneously shouted "Arya"

I did, I think I even jumped up out of my chair. Then sent “Arrrrrrrrrryaaaaaa” in a text chain with a bunch of my friends. Apparently, someone was about a minute behind the rest of us and I spoiled it for her.

If you can see in black.
For 95% of the episode I agree, but I thought that moment was actually pretty well lit? Or maybe you just knew to focus there because of the camera movement?

About 3 years ago some ******** ( I think it was Sony) made some stupid f'n camera that TV show creators think let people see better at night. It's ruining TV.

I landed at 9:30 last night and never took my phone off airplane mode for this exact reason.

Yes, we watched on a projector and it was absolutely the right call...no issues at all.

Sony still sells the only Tube Monitor that is used by post production facilities for all final color correction and editing work. It's only a 30 some inch set, but it is the defacto standard for black levels. I got to see some demonstrations at CEDIA between it, a Sony TV, a Samsung TV and an LG TV. It was no surprise that the only set that came close to matching the monitor was the Sony set, but even then it wasn't quite perfect.

got home from Tennessee just before 2:00 a.m. Stayed up, went down to the mancave, and watched it off Tivo. Epic. Lighting was fine on the plasma tv. Glad to see one of my predictions come true, that Arya would take down the Night King. Now they have to deal with the full force of Cersei's troops. Weird that Danyerus, in the next episode's trailer, used just about the same phrase as Arya/Walder Frey (rip them out root and stem) in Season 7, Episode 1.

Question for the nerds. Dany can't be burnt(burned) by fire, is Jon the same way since he's a Targ? Does it being blue fire matter? Would Jon be able to survive blue fire since he literally is of ice and fire? Should Bran/Sam/Dany not have mentioned this to Jon?

Good point. That would've been a hell of a time to test it, though. "Ooops."

When Bran Flake was warging, i was hoping he would warg into Viserion and use him to help the living. Why the heck did he warg into the ravens last night?

The after show, the producers mentioned that they made the decision that it would Arya a while back, that they felt Jon couldn't always be the hero saving the day.

Many theories abound. Some people think he might be evil.

Probably when the red witch predicted she would shut many eyes forever.

I don't mean to imply that Jon should have killed the ice dude. In fact, I think it would have been a better fake out had Jon realized the blue fire couldn't harm him AND still have Arya do the deed. As it played out, it kinda had to be Arya. I thought Arya was going to be wearing Bran's face, but I really don't understand how that **** works. :joy::joy:

Here's the thing I think the Producers told us last night.
1) Don't believe all the prophecy talk. Azor Ahai... all of it.
2) Sometimes things are just simple answers and solutions. Meaning, Bran is just a bit detached now emotionally since he's become the 3 eyed raven, and that the rumors that he was Nightking are way off base.
3) Cerise was always the main protagonist, and the White Walkers and Nightking are just a distraction.

Bran as the Night King never made sense. If true, none of the show mattered.

I was busy yelling at some kids to get off my lawn right before that scene, but why are you texting with friends while watching a TV show. Youth is wasted on the young!

I really hope they explain more about the night king now that the battle is over

They have clearly been setting this up for a long time. GRRM likely had this in his outline. The three sets of eyes thing was from very early on.

Because it’s a TV show from my couch, not a movie theater, and Honeybadger don’t give a ****.

1st world problems.
