At least Indiana is worse!!!

This week's B1G Power Rankings have us 13th and Indiana 14th. Last year both coaches got lengthy contract extensions. Go figure.

I have wanted to post this same thought for awhile. If it is any consolation - and it isn't for me - much was expected of Indiana while national pundits write off NU before the season.

We also beat Rutgers! So you can make an argument that we’re #12. Although they’ve looked like a different team the past two weeks and just need one more win for a bowl.

If we beat Illinois, we’ll be #11. And if we pull off the upset over Purdue, we’ll be 5-7 and potentially in a bowl.

Trying to be an optimist here. Although like many fans it’s hard to get to worked up about this anymore.
