This will be the story in the SEC this season. Who will be healthy when March gets here? Everyone has a good team but can the grind of league play help or hurt you. I'm already planning a first time trip to the SEC Tournament in Nashville this year. It's gonna be Awesome!!

Well when you pull your shoulder out and then put it back in there's going to be some swelling.... Maybe some damage. I'd say at least a month. And I say that because if he goes any sooner than that and he reinjures it he will probably be done and have to have surgery.
It's going to be a problem out there with the sore shoulder for him. Guys will try to bump him. You got to raise your arms anytime you want to do anything in basketball.
It popped it out last year and now it's popped out this year and each time it's easier and easier.
He could cost himself NBA if he's not careful.

Didn't see the game. Did Bruce leave him in during a blowout when he could've played the subs?

I watched the highlights last night. I didn’t see Broome in highlights for most of the game. Think the injury happened early and I don’t believe he went back in the game. Full disclosure, I did not watch the full game.

That’s an amazing player on a beautiful basketball team. Sorry to see this happen and I will pray for him to come back quickly and at full strength with no lingering effects.

I am also unable to not note that the only team with an equal or greater claim on early season greatness as us just downshifted in a major way. Not upset at that aspect of it.

Can you ask the Lord to let him return on March 2nd? Asking for a friend.

I'm going to say that Auburn has enough discipline to get to the final four, but I cannot see them winning a championship.

If you put Wade Taylor on Auburn, you could mail them the trophy. They just don't have that.

One of my buddies In high school had a terrible shoulder. It poped out of socket all the time. He would just get drunk and one of us help him set it back in place again. He eventually had surgery to fix it but it was so easy to dislocate.

A girl that plays on my daughter’s HS team has her shoulder pop out of socket all the time. She will be in pain for a few days but then comes back and plays again. She needs surgery but she has put it off hoping she would play CBB somewhere.

Tore my labrum when I dislocated shoulder. That can be a major shoulder issue and surgery. I got lucky.

Haven’t watched them this year but Bruce+talent=trouble. I was a little shocked last year against Bama because Broome was almost unguardable and they would go 4-5 minute stretches where their guards just lost their minds and tried to do it all without him.

Pretty sure we went after him hard didn't we? Could you imagine him on this team. it's really the only weakness we have. Offensively speaking.

How are you planning on getting tickets??? I have been wanting to go but the ticket situation looks bleak. If you didn’t get them last year chances are you can’t get them this year. On the secondary market with the SEC being so strong, tickets will be insane.

Wish the kid the best and hope he fully recovers, in time for play sometime after Mar. 1st.

No surgery required. Sounds like his shoulder has popped out of socket in the past, and once it happens it's easier to happen again (kinda like biting your tongue). I'm guessing they'll leave him out until SEC play, even if he feels better prior to that. If he comes back and dominates post injury, you can expect him to be given the Naismith. Voters and ESPN love that ****
