Auburn & Duke or the Field

It's not as easy a choice as some think. I think auburn is gonna go far and is the clear favorite. I don't think it's to last years uconn level where most people had them winning it all pre tourney but auburn is strong.
Florida, Alabama and Houston are the only things that would have me consider the field. Top heavy CBB season in my view
Give me the field. Anything can happen in the tournament.
Ask SEC teams vs the field. Duke has feasted on a historically bad ACC. I took the field by the way. I think Duke goes into the tournament untested since December and it hurts them greatly. Now the friendly whistle they will get will offset some of that as we know so there’s that.
Duke or Florida, would prefer to see St. John’s. I think Auburn has a good chance to get beat in the S16 or E8. Especially if the refs call fouls and they play their SEC football style of basketball.
If you isolated one of them, especially Duke. I'm taking the field. But those two together, I'm inclined to pick them.
dUKe won't win the title. Too much inexperience. And I wont count them out of actually MAKING a Final Four this year, and even make the title game. But Flagg will dribble the ball off his leg in dUKe's big moment to win the game and blow it.
And Auburn is too full of punks and immature asswipes to win a title.

I think the winner will come from a 1 seed this season. Auburn, Duke,, Florida or Houston.
No one else outside of that group jumps out to me. Alabama has flaws but could make a run. UT doesn't do it for me. They don't have a Knecht to carry them this March. I have no respect for big 10 and St johns is overrated.

I like Florida a lot more than Auburn from SEC. Auburn has too many "cool" moments where they play with fire and skate by. Pearl also has the wrong lineup on the court way too often including the awful Chaney Johnson and chicken**** Denver Jones.
I could absolutely see Alabama winning it. They have enough athletes to be a better defensive team for a six game stretch and their offense is completely unguardable when it gets going. I agree with you. The national championship will almost certainly be won by one of those five teams this year.
Field is always the safe bet. This year for sure. There isn't much difference between the top 5-7 teams in the land.
