How is it that OU has more Austin area kids than UT, and is winning big with them? Mayfield, Perine, Wade and Westbrook all hail from within the Centex area and none is at UT, and two were Heisman finalists and Perine is right there. Keep signing LT kids other than OL/QBs and see where that gets you?

Derrick Strait, also from Austin was pretty good... I just wonder how such quality kids keep escaping the Lone star state and being very good OU Sooners?
If you want to win championships, you go to OU. You just play football at UT, then when you graduate, you get hired as a sewage sanitation technician.
