We need you bad over the next few games. I hope you're working on your technic and watching film from your earlier games. I'm not sure how much coaching he gets at this level, but I sure hope he gets back on track...

Kickers are an odd bunch.
Probably the best thing to do is just let him be.

All his demons are between his ears.

Funny how a guy like him can kick 60-70 field goals all day in practice. Then hits the upright on a 35 yard job in a game.
Wow, frustrating.

Maybe we can get Since 73 to coach him up.....

I once dropped into a Tulsa practice. Tulsa was having a major problem not only on field goals, but the kicker couldn't hit an extra point. The special teams coach was spending a lot of time with the guy. I kind of giggled, because the coach looked like a lineman trying to teach a kicker.

Maybe Austin can call his former soccer coach. I think he'll be fine. He has the swagger of a great kicker.

Tony was part of a feature on the stadium big screen last night. They do a trivia question where you guess the year. They mention TV shows, movies, music, current event, and a great OU moment. When they showed Tony kicking the long one, I yelled "1973". I was correct of course, and all the ladies looked at me with hearts in their eyes.

I have no doubt he'll snap out of this 'unusual funk of mediocrity', but he's got to do it quickly...like before Saturday.

Whatever coaching or help Seibert needs, it's purely mental.
