Bluegrass Stockyards in Lexington on fire. Smoke from the fire can be seen miles away. Those close to it say it appears to be a total loss.

Say they are hearing explosions.

They had a site planned near KY horsepark.

Word right now is some contractors who were working on the roof MAY have been the cause.

Entire structure, 9 acres under roof, gone. 6 adjacent businesses also destroyed.

I was on Short Street when that fire broke out yesterday, moving some furniture from Lex to Louisville area. Arg! It was a wild scene.
