Outside of obviously Vegas...

Scottsdale for golf and pretty good nightlife. Dependent on time of year renting a lake house on Lake of the Ozarks or the big lake near Pheonix (can't remember the name)

Colorado in the winter or summer is great. Pagosa Springs, Beaver Creek, Breck, etc...

Summer - get a houseboat on the lake of the Ozarks for a week.
